Hmm strange... The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is checking to see if the "Flow" is set to 100% also.  It's near the Brush Opacity setting.  If not that, try checking to make sure you are in the correct "mode" which is the setting under image>mode (then make sure you're either in CMYK or RGB).  Let me know if it's still giving you problems

unfortunatly I have another question…How do u scale in Cs4??The adobe site is useless….

If you want to scale a single layer it's Edit>Free Transform (or command+T).  If you want to scale the entire image it's Image>Image Size.

I wonder if I could translate this process into something like Krita. It's wonderful, you're a very talented artist ^^

Beautiful work; what really popped out to me were the designs of the crowns. If you don't mind my asking, how did you come up with the design for them? I can see that the basic shape is that of the show's, but the gorgeous little details on the sides are a really nice touch.

Thank you! You're right in that I used the show's design for the crowns as inspiration. I knew that I wanted to make the crowns more ornate right from the get go. I drafted a few crowns with an organic feel and ended up liking the ones you see here. I made Celestia's crown more woody and Luna's more billowy and cloud like :)

You know it's pro when there's so much thought in it. I love it! The difference in how they're looking into the distance, and the colour pallets, and shape, the focus area, etc..
Although, personally, I liked it better without all the extra additions you made. I think that they make it... too busy...
