Guardians of the Forest by TsaoShin Guardians of the Forest by TsaoShin
Decided to do another Miyazaki fan art piece, this time from Princess Mononoke! My favorite character was Moro so I had to get her in the scene. Tried a different look for both characters - I hope you enjoy :)

Adobe Photoshop CS4. Pose reference for San from :iconmjranum-stock:

See my other Studio Ghibli pieces!

I love the anatomy and detail on Moro. It's almost scary how realistic she looks. :XD: And I must say San looks good too. :)

Thank you so much!  Yeah I tried to make it look like Moro's eyes were glowing a bit like how an animal's eyes reflect light.  It's so hard to achieve!

That is an amazing piece of work - love the violet eyes on Moro-no-kimi.  Seems apropro for a Shinto Elder God.

I love the lighting and shading detail in this - it's gorgeous! Moro was also my favourite character, and the way you've drawn her is my favourite depiction on dA <3
