The Wise Oneby *TsaoShin

I know this looks like pencil but it was actually done with a ballpoint pen. A lot of the lines are rather rough because it was a beast to shade with but I like how it turned out.

The tinting was done with Adobe Photoshop CS2 after the scan. Credit to Edward S. Curtis for the reference photo.

Shading was a beast, I'm sure... Ballpoint is not an easy medium, and not very forgiving... This came out lovely. The textures also catch my attention

The expression here strikes me as simultaneously noble and sad.
