Lineart Style  $100
Clean lineart of a single figure/character with digitally painted colors underneath.  Minimal or transparent background included.  Additional cost for extra figures/characters.  Complex and/or detailed backgrounds +$15.


Digital Painting $200+
A fully rendered digital painting.  Price varies due to complexity, backgrounds, additional characters and style.  I'm open to discuss your needs and give you a quote.


Traditional Pen Work $150+
Drawn completely with ballpoint pen on 9"x12" Bristol paper.  Shipped with protective sheeting in a poster tube.  Popular option for pet portraits.  Amount of detail increases price (large amounts of black fur, multiple figures, detail).  If you are requesting a pet portrait, you must provide a high-resolution picture that shows your animal clearly.

I don't take graphic design commissions.  I do this all day at work – I want to do something different at home!

When commissioning me, remember to look at my gallery to see where my strengths are.  I prefer fantasy, animals, creatures, and organic elements.  Sci-fi, city scenes, mechanical, and robotics are my weaker topics so I may reject a commission of this nature especially if I feel that I will not do it justice.  Adult topics are acceptable if they are not disrespectful.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

All digital commissions include the final high-resolution finished image in JPG, PNG, or TIF (flattened) format. All drawings default at 8.5"x11" at 300 DPI unless requested otherwise or if the composition dictates a difference.   Sizes greater than 20" on one edge may incur additional fees.

Traditional commissions include the original piece and a scanned electronic copy.  Drawings are shipped via UPS in poster tubes.  I will supply tracking information when available.  Shipping and handling is included.

Lineart is provided as either a flat image with a white or transparent background.  Lineart with Painted Colors includes isolated lines in a separate file.

All digital commission pieces will not bear my signature unless requested.  Traditional pieces will be signed discreetly and tastefully on the front of the image.

You may build upon, color, and alter any sketch or lineart you receive in your commission package.  You may also display the commission and versions of the commissions you have built upon in your personal gallery so long as credit is given to me as the original author of your image.

PROCESS:

Contact me via a note or email with your commission request.  Please be as accurate as possible about your needs.  It helps to include your own sketches and references.

I will provide a pricing quote and finalize details.

Once payment is received, I will create a loose draft of your idea and provide a thumbnail.  This is the time to make the most dramatic changes and alterations if necessary (poses, setting, additions, etc).  

If no alterations are made, I will move on and provide a cleaned up version with loose colors.  This is the time to make minor alterations.  If any major changes are made at this point forward, it may incur additional fees.  

Once approved, I will finish the painting and provide one more thumbnail when I'm finished for final touch ups (very minor additions such as glows, color modification, background elements) before sending the final high-resolution version.

PAYMENT:

I accept payments through PayPal only.  Prices are in USD.

I will issue a full refund if I cancel your commission.

If you cancel a commission with me and work has been started, I will provide said work at its current stage of completion with no refund.  When you commission me, you are not only paying for a product but also to be placed into my schedule.

Payment is due after I send you a quote.  I will not start work until payment is made.

TERMS:

I reserve the right to decline or cancel any commission for any reason.

I retain the rights as the original author of your commission.  I may display the final product, drafts, and concepts included in the process of creating your commission as examples of my work in personal galleries including deviantART.  If this is the case, I will credit you as my commissioner and author of characters (where applicable) unless privacy is requested.

After final payments, I will not seek additional profits from your commission nor will I physically distribute or profit from sales of hard copies of your final product.

If you intend to use the commission commercially and/or profit from it, you must sign agreements of release with me.
