Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Things to clarify:
 
A mage's abilities are:supernatural strength,able to cast magic spells,able to survive for a long period of time.
Her staff/rod appears when shes battling with someone.


CONTEST RULES:
You have to draw Kasumi.
You can draw her with her likes and dislikes,her casting spells or just her alone.
Do not draw her with your OC or my other OC's,they dont know each other.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I will be at Otakon 2012 this year as a panelist!  I'm running a workshop on digital painting with a live demo.  Here is the description from the pocket guide:

Digital painter TsaoShin (Eric Proctor) will demonstrate how to improve work flow, technique and brush mastery in Adobe Photoshop.  This presentation will be in 3 parts.  Part one will cover line art based drawings, part two will cover fully rendered digital painting (with influences from traditional mediums), and part three will be a live demo showcasing work flow optimization, brush dynamics and working with a tablet.

This panel is for beginner and intermediate artists who have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

Unfortunately, I may not be in the Artist's Alley or the Art Show this year.  There's a slim chance I'll be at a table but I'm not counting on it.  I apologize to anyone who was hoping for prints this year!

I had the pleasure of sitting in on your presentation at Otakon and have to say that it was one of the best (if not THE best) panel I've sat in on in any Otakon. Your presentation was so clean and concise and well put together. I wasn't able to see you at your table at artist alley but wanted to pass along my thoughts and most important I hope you make it to next year's Otakon.

PS - Bring more discs!

Thank you for attending the panel and your kind words - I'm very happy that you enjoyed the workshop. I was shocked and pleased to see how many people attended and were interested in digital painting! I do apologize about the lack of discs to go around (I didn't think there would be so many people who would want them!) I'm planning on making the resource files available on my dropbox for anyone who still wants them.

Also, thank you for taking the time to send me this message. It means a lot to me and I appreciate your support! Hope to see you again at future cons!
